TMdesk - Alert Types
The TMdesk platform sends out timely email alerts to users to notify them of critical battery and position states.
First release alerts
The first alerting release is email-only and covers Battery, Moved Out of Hours, Suspicious Battery Disconnection and Stolen Asset Position. As TMdesk develops we will extend the reporting function to cover other operational and system alerts.

|
Battery |
A live site is predicted to have limited battery runtime remaining. |
Open the site and identify the signals requiring attention. Schedule a battery swap for the affected assets. |
|
Moved Out of Hours |
An asset reports significant movement outside the organisation's working hours. |
Check the location and confirm whether the movement is authorised. Report to the police and attend site to address any safety issues. |
|
Suspicious Battery Disconnection |
Tracker power disappears in circumstances that resemble battery disconnection during movement. |
Treat as potentially suspicious and verify the asset immediately. Report to the police and attend site to address any safety issues. |
|
Stolen Asset Position |
An asset already marked as stolen reports a new position from GPS or another location source. |
Review the position and follow the asset-recovery procedure. Report to the police and attend site to address any safety issues. |
Safety notice: Traffic Group Signals does not recommend that customers or their employees attempt to recover stolen signals themselves. Do not approach or confront anyone. Report the theft and any available location information to the police, then follow their advice. Recovery should be handled by the police or a suitably qualified professional recovery service.
