Using the TMdesk Depot Screen
This article provides an overview of the Depot screen in TMdesk
What is the Depot Screen?
The Depot Screen shows the temporary traffic signals you currently have at each depot.
It gives you a quick way to see what equipment you have available and whether it is ready to go out on a job.
What can I see?
For each depot, TMdesk shows the signals that are currently there.
Depending on your fleet, this may include Evo1 and Evo ACM signals.
You can see:
- How many signals of each type are at the depot
- How many traffic signals you have
- How many pedestrian signals you have
- Which signals are fully charged
- Which signals still need charging
Changing the name of your Depot
You can change the name of your depot using the pencil icon as illustrated below. This action is restricted to company administrators only.

Why should I use the Depot Screen?
The Depot Screen helps you prepare for upcoming jobs.
Instead of checking equipment individually, you can quickly see what you have available and what still needs charging.
For example, if a new job comes in, you can check whether you have enough charged signals ready to deploy.
If you don't, you can start charging the equipment before it is needed.
Managing your fleet
Regularly checking the Depot Screen can help you make better use of the signals in your fleet.
It helps answer three simple questions:
-
What have we got?
-
Where is it?
-
Is it ready to go?
