Setting working hours
Setting your organisation's working hours is crucial to ensure the alerts you receive are timely and relevant.
What are working hours?
Working hours are the time frame in which your business is operational. The working hours you set are linked to the alerting system, so that we can notify you if any of your signals are moved unexpectedly outside of these hours.
Why set working hours?
Working hours help us determine whether it is normal behaviour for a traffic signal asset to be moved within a certain timeframe in order to manage our alert system. For example, if a signal was moved at 3am and your working hours were set between 6am and 11pm, we would deem this to be unusual behaviour, and this would trigger an alert.
What if I don't set or change my companies working hours?
If you do not set your companies working hours, they will remain on the default setting which sets the working hours between 5AM and 10PM Monday to Friday, and between 7AM and 9PM Saturday to Sunday.

Alerts do not replace site checks: An alert reflects the latest information received by TMdesk. Open the relevant asset or site, check when it last updated and follow your organisation's normal safety and escalation procedure.
